Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Puffs by Steven Shearer was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,381.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Steven Shearer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hash in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 148,617.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Puffs von Steven Shearer kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.381,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Steven Shearer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hash im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 148.617,21).
