The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,021.91), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Stephen Greene have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carrying the Cross in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 22,575.00 (€ 20,248.45).
