This artwork by Stanley Brouwn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2019. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work 1M Horizontal/1M Vertikal sold for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,959.21) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stanley Brouwn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stanley Brouwn erzielte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit 1M Horizontal/1M Vertikal für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.959,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanley Brouwn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
