Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stanley Brouwn could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work 1 Ell On 1 X 1 Step 1 Step On 1 X 1 M changed hands for EUR 15,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stanley Brouwn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stanley Brouwn konnte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit 1 Ell On 1 X 1 Step 1 Step On 1 X 1 M für EUR 15.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanley Brouwn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
