Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Stanley Brouwn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work this way brouwn sold for EUR 37,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 16,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Stanley Brouwn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet sold at auction in May 2019 with the realized price of EUR 68,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stanley Brouwn erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit this way brouwn für EUR 37.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 16.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Stanley Brouwn; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet im Mai 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 68.750,00.
