It achieved a price of EUR 32,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stanley Brouwn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet, which sold at auction in May 2019 for EUR 68,750.00.

Die Arbeit 1 m - 1 step - 1 ell - 1 foot von Stanley Brouwn kam im April 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 32.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Stanley Brouwn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für EUR 68.750,00 versteigert wurde.
