The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,500.00 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Stanley Brouwn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.

Die Arbeit use this light von Stanley Brouwn wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.500,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanley Brouwn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 1 X 1 X 1 Foot - 2 X 2 X 2 Feet - 3 X 3 X 3 Feet im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
