Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jumera, Andalusia by David Muirhead Bone was sold in the The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street auction at Sothebys in London in February 2019. The price achieved of GBP 563.00 (€ 656.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Muirhead Bone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Soho Square, London in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,783.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jumera, Andalusia von David Muirhead Bone wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 563,00 (€ 656,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Muirhead Bone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Soho Square, London im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.287,50 (€ 8.783,59).
