Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Sunday Night, San Martin, Segovia, Spain by David Muirhead Bone. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 701.25 (€ 815.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Muirhead Bone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Soho Square, London in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,783.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunday Night, San Martin, Segovia, Spain von David Muirhead Bone zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 701,25 (€ 815,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Muirhead Bone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Soho Square, London im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.287,50 (€ 8.783,59).
