The work East Runton by David Muirhead Bone was worth GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,866.99) to a buyer in March this year. This price was achieved in the auction George Club: Twenty Years in Mayfair at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 700.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Muirhead Bone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Soho Square, London, which sold at auction in June 2001 for GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,783.59).
