Auction result well in line with expectations
The work “Flower Vase #3" by Shirō Kuramata was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,605.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shirō Kuramata achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Miss Blanche' chair in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,240,000.00 (€ 255,777.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit “Flower Vase #3" von Shirō Kuramata kam im April 2008 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.605,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shirō Kuramata erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Miss Blanche' chair im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.240.000,00 (€ 255.777,86).
