Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,040.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shirō Kuramata achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Miss Blanche' chair in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,240,000.00 (€ 255,777.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Suite De Six Cintres - Circa 1980 von Shirō Kuramata kam im September 2017 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.040,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shirō Kuramata erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Miss Blanche' chair im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.240.000,00 (€ 255.777,86).
