Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 01:14.9 by Shilpa Gupta was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in June 2019. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,293.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Shilpa Gupta have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2016 the work Someone Else: A Library of 35 Books Written Anonymously or Under Pseudonyms was auctioned for USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,267.31).
