In December 2014 Christies in London held the auction The India Sale, which included the work Wheredoiendandyoubegin by Shilpa Gupta. The auction ended at the price of INR 2,000,000.00 (€ 26,113.54), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of INR 1,500,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. Other works by Shilpa Gupta have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2016 the work Someone Else: A Library of 35 Books Written Anonymously or Under Pseudonyms was auctioned for USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,267.31).

Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion The India Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wheredoiendandyoubegin von Shilpa Gupta zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von INR 2.000.000,00 (€ 26.113,54) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von INR 1.500.000,00 – 2.000.000,00.
