Two etching and aquatints in colors, on wove paper, with full margins,
both I. 13 1/2 x 9 5/8 in. (34.3 x 24.4 cm);
both S. 20 7/8 x 15 1/4 in. (53 x 38.7 cm)
both signed and numbered 16/20 and 13/20 in pencil, occasional soft creasing, foxmarks and minor soiling in the margins, one with a crease at the upper left corner, otherwise both in very good condition, both unframed.

Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Sin titulo and Sin titulo by Sergio Hernández was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Editions auction at Phillips in New York in June 2009. The auction ended at the price of USD 1,000.00 (€ 713.27), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 800.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergio Hernández achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apocalipsis in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 50,529.55).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Sin titulo and Sin titulo von Sergio Hernández wurde im Juni 2009 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Editions bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 713,27) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergio Hernández erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apocalipsis im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 50.529,55).
