A top price for Sergio Hernández - as previously expected
The work Apocalipsis by Sergio Hernández was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 50,529.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Apocalipsis is the most expensive artwork by Sergio Hernández that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Apocalipsis von Sergio Hernández kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 50.529,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
