It achieved a price of GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,420.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Serge Mendjisky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards, which sold at auction in February 2016 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,432.69).

Die Arbeit Pont Du Louvre Avant L’Orage von Serge Mendjisky wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | London Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.420,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Für andere Arbeiten von Serge Mendjisky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.432,69) versteigert wurde.
