The work Oliveraie by Serge Mendjisky was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 5,040.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33 %. Admittedly, works by Serge Mendjisky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,432.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Oliveraie von Serge Mendjisky kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 5.040,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Mendjisky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.432,69).
