Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les vignes by Serge Mendjisky was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 4,864.00 (€ 5,674.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Serge Mendjisky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,432.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les vignes von Serge Mendjisky wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.864,00 (€ 5.674,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Mendjisky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.432,69).
