Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nu Dans Le Parc by Serge Mendjisky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,522.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Serge Mendjisky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,432.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nu Dans Le Parc von Serge Mendjisky kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.522,15) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Mendjisky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.432,69).
