Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Avenue De Tourville by Serge Mendjisky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,243.76). Admittedly, works by Serge Mendjisky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,432.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Avenue De Tourville von Serge Mendjisky kam im Februar 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.243,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Mendjisky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.432,69).
