The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,116.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Scott Burton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pair of Granite Chairs in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 156,500.00 (€ 224,744.30).
