Auction result well in line with expectations
The work London by Saul Leiter was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April last year. The price achieved of USD 15,120.00 (€ 14,349.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Saul Leiter have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work Snow was auctioned for GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,990.59).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 14.349,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Saul Leiter konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2021 die Arbeit Snow für GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.990,59) versteigert.
