Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (girl with beret) by Saul Leiter was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October last year. The price achieved of USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,805.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Saul Leiter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Snow in May 2021 with an auction result of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,990.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (girl with beret) von Saul Leiter kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.805,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Saul Leiter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Snow im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.990,59).
