Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kate Moss, West Village, N.Y.C. by Sante D'Orazio was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 23,940.00 (€ 22,719.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sante D'Orazio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pam Grid #1, 2010, which sold at auction in April 2013 for USD 99,750.00 (€ 75,751.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kate Moss, West Village, N.Y.C. von Sante D'Orazio wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 22.719,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sante D'Orazio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pam Grid #1, 2010 beobachtet, die im April 2013 für USD 99.750,00 (€ 75.751,82) versteigert wurde.
