Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Christy Turlington, The Panoramic View Hotel, Ny, 1993 by Sante D'Orazio was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2021. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,312.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sante D'Orazio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pam Grid #1, 2010 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 99,750.00 (€ 75,751.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Christy Turlington, The Panoramic View Hotel, Ny, 1993 von Sante D'Orazio kam im April 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.312,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sante D'Orazio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pam Grid #1, 2010 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 99.750,00 (€ 75.751,82).
