Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Frederique', St. Barths, 1990 by Sante D'Orazio. The price achieved of GBP 1,764.00 (€ 2,052.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sante D'Orazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pam Grid #1, 2010 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 99,750.00 (€ 75,751.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Frederique', St. Barths, 1990 von Sante D'Orazio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.764,00 (€ 2.052,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sante D'Orazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pam Grid #1, 2010 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 99.750,00 (€ 75.751,82).
