Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Helena Christensen, Palm Springs, 1994 by Sante D'Orazio was sold in the Photographies & Lothar Schirmer's Glamour Collection auction at Christies in Sydney in November this year. The price achieved of EUR 3,780.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sante D'Orazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pam Grid #1, 2010 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 99,750.00 (€ 75,751.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Helena Christensen, Palm Springs, 1994 von Sante D'Orazio wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographies & Lothar Schirmer's Glamour Collection bei Christies in Sydney versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.780,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sante D'Orazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pam Grid #1, 2010 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 99.750,00 (€ 75.751,82).
