This artwork by Sante D'Orazio achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in April this year. In the Photographs auction, the work Christy Turlington, Panoramic View Hotel, Montauk sold for USD 44,450.00 (€ 40,262.68) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sante D'Orazio; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pam Grid #1, 2010 sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of USD 99,750.00 (€ 75,751.82).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sante D'Orazio erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Christy Turlington, Panoramic View Hotel, Montauk für USD 44.450,00 (€ 40.262,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sante D'Orazio; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pam Grid #1, 2010 im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 99.750,00 (€ 75.751,82).
