A top price for Sam Middleton - as previously expected
The work Jazz on Easter Sunday by Sam Middleton was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session auction at Phillips in New York in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,455.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Jazz on Easter Sunday is the most expensive artwork by Sam Middleton that we have observed at auctions so far.
