Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Sam Middleton for DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.19). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 5,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Middleton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jazz on Easter Sunday in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,455.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sam Middleton für DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 5.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Middleton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jazz on Easter Sunday im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.455,27).
