Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Digestion by Saint Clair Cemin for USD 699.00 (€ 633.15). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Saint Clair Cemin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Large Table) in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 95,600.00 (€ 72,101.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Digestion von Saint Clair Cemin für USD 699,00 (€ 633,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Saint Clair Cemin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Large Table) im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 95.600,00 (€ 72.101,97).
