Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crafts (from I Smell Pregnant) by Ryan Trecartin was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,852.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ryan Trecartin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Family Finds Entertainment in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 63,842.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Crafts (from I Smell Pregnant) von Ryan Trecartin kam im September 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.852,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ryan Trecartin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Family Finds Entertainment im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 63.842,78).
