Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ryan Trecartin could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Handpicked: 100 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery auction, the work Abraham with the Long Arm changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,842.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ryan Trecartin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Family Finds Entertainment in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 63,842.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ryan Trecartin konnte im März 2017 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Handpicked: 100 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery wechselte die Arbeit Abraham with the Long Arm für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.842,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ryan Trecartin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Family Finds Entertainment im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 63.842,78).
