In June 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Dash Bombing by Ryan McGinley. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,900.00 (€ 15,952.06), 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ryan McGinley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Alex (Giant Explosion) sold at auction in November 2012 with the realized price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,823.98).

Im Juni 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dash Bombing von Ryan McGinley zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 15.952,06) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ryan McGinley; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Alex (Giant Explosion) im November 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.823,98).
