Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Rudolf Stingel. The price achieved of USD 1,058,400.00 (€ 970,297.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rudolf Stingel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (After Sam) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 10,551,500.00 (€ 9,390,797.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rudolf Stingel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.058.400,00 (€ 970.297,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rudolf Stingel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (After Sam) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.551.500,00 (€ 9.390.797,44).
