Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Rudolf Stingel for USD 723,900.00 (€ 663,641.36). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 900,000.00 – 1,200,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Stingel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (After Sam) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 10,551,500.00 (€ 9,390,797.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rudolf Stingel für USD 723.900,00 (€ 663.641,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 900.000,00 – 1.200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Stingel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (After Sam) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.551.500,00 (€ 9.390.797,44).
