Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rudolf Stingel could be acquired at Christies in London in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War to Present auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,904.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Stingel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (After Sam) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 10,551,500.00 (€ 9,390,797.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rudolf Stingel konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War to Present wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.904,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Stingel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (After Sam) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.551.500,00 (€ 9.390.797,44).
