Auction result well in line with expectations

In July last year Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work PMU No. 28 by Roxy Paine. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 13,585.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roxy Paine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Model For Bluff in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 131,250.00 (€ 116,895.26).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit PMU No. 28 von Roxy Paine zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 13.585,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roxy Paine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Model For Bluff im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 131.250,00 (€ 116.895,26).
