Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Cauliflower by Roxy Paine for GBP 3,276.00 (€ 3,698.28). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roxy Paine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Model For Bluff in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 131,250.00 (€ 116,895.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cauliflower von Roxy Paine für GBP 3.276,00 (€ 3.698,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roxy Paine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Model For Bluff im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 131.250,00 (€ 116.895,26).
