The work Untitled (Red Chapel) by Robert Therrien was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,528.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Therrien achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No Title in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 64,625.00 (€ 74,332.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Red Chapel) von Robert Therrien kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.528,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Therrien erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No Title im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 64.625,00 (€ 74.332,87).
