Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Keyhole) by Robert Therrien was sold in the The Collection of Douglas S. Cramer auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,792.90). Admittedly, works by Robert Therrien have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work No Title in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 64,625.00 (€ 74,332.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Keyhole) von Robert Therrien wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion The Collection of Douglas S. Cramer bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.820,00 (€ 7.792,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Therrien auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit No Title im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 64.625,00 (€ 74.332,87).
