This artwork by Robert Therrien achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September last year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California auction, the work No title (blue oval panel), 1994 sold for USD 6,120.00 (€ 6,255.75) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Therrien achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No Title in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 64,625.00 (€ 74,332.87).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Therrien erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California wurde die Arbeit No title (blue oval panel), 1994 für USD 6.120,00 (€ 6.255,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Therrien erzielen.
