Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Beatles by Robert Stanley was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 10,438.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Stanley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Andrea", which sold at auction in November 2012 for SEK 200,000.00 (€ 23,074.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Beatles von Robert Stanley kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 10.438,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Stanley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Andrea" beobachtet, die im November 2012 für SEK 200.000,00 (€ 23.074,56) versteigert wurde.
