Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Stanley could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Reserve Prints and Multiples Holiday Online Sale auction, the work Ties changed hands for USD 31.25 (€ 27.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Stanley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Andrea" in November 2012 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 23,074.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Stanley konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Reserve Prints and Multiples Holiday Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Ties für USD 31,25 (€ 27,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Stanley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Andrea" im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 23.074,56).
