Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Trees #5 by Robert Stanley for USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,348.99). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Robert Stanley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Andrea" in November 2012 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 23,074.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Trees #5 von Robert Stanley für USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.348,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Stanley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Andrea" im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 23.074,56).
