Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Robert Marc. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,460.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Marc - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2020 for USD 44,062.50 (€ 36,878.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Marc zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.460,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Marc mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2020 für USD 44.062,50 (€ 36.878,56) versteigert wurde.
