The work Figura by Ricardo Martínez was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. It achieved a price of USD 40,320.00 (€ 33,065.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Admittedly, works by Ricardo Martínez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figura Yacente in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 257,000.00 (€ 197,874.96).

Die Arbeit Figura von Ricardo Martínez kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 40.320,00 (€ 33.065,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%.
