The work La Mirada by Ricardo Martínez was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2021. The auction ended at the price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 49,204.53), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ricardo Martínez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figura Yacente in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 257,000.00 (€ 197,874.96).

Die Arbeit La Mirada von Ricardo Martínez kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 49.204,53) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ricardo Martínez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figura Yacente im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 257.000,00 (€ 197.874,96).
