Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Mujer con vaso by Ricardo Martínez. The price achieved of USD 44,475.00 (€ 41,744.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ricardo Martínez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figura Yacente in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 257,000.00 (€ 197,874.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mujer con vaso von Ricardo Martínez zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 44.475,00 (€ 41.744,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ricardo Martínez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figura Yacente im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 257.000,00 (€ 197.874,96).
